Q Accuracy and precision in measurement is vital to my business. How can I be sure Heron Instruments are the right choice?
A All Heron water level and interface meters are designed and built with measuring tapes that comply with ASME and European Class II standards, which require that tapes be accurate to 1/100th ft per 100' under an eleven pound load.
Q Other water level meters offer a choice of probes constructed of different materials.
Why? What's the difference?
A Heron gives both environmental quality and full depth rating in one probe.
Q Will your water level probe go the full depth of a well without leaking or causing a false reading?
A At Heron, we know our instruments can be used to sound total well depth. We've designed our probes to be leak proof down to 2000 feet.
Q Some tapes are damaged by hydrocarbons. How can I avoid this in the future?
A Buy Heron. The Heron H.01L and Sm.OIL Interface Meters use Kynar jacketed tapes. Kynars resistance to hydrocarbon attack is superior to polyethylene. Just one more quality feature built into the Heron line
Q I'm often dealing with situations where there are both DNALP and LNAPL present. Will the Heron detect both?
A DNALPS include highly aggressive solvents which damage many interface probes, but the Heron interface probe is suitable for both LNAPLS and DNALPS.
Q How does Heron measure up when I compare warranties?

We encourage you to compare. Heron warranties are supported by a staff with over forty years experience; people who know that equipment breakdowns and repair delays are bad news for field staff and project management. We offer speedy turn around on all repairs.
