The Heron Tap”n”Tell will display height of water above transducer and temperature of water in degrees Celsius when used in conjunction with the Heron dipperLog groundwater data logger.
The Tap”n”Tell works off one 9 volt user replaceable battery and can be left connected to the dipperLog groundwater data logger for an extended period of time without decreasing the battery life of the logger. (Approximate life of battery: 5 years dependent on usage)
The Heron Tap”n”Tell is protected in a water, dust and ice resistant Nema 4X housing and is equipped with mounting hardware.
To use the Tap”n”Tell simply connect the Tap”n”Tell to the Direct Read Well Head connector of your dipperLog and tap on the indicated circle. The Tap”n”Tell will stay active for 30 seconds.
It is important to note that the Tap”n”Tell does not offer “logging” capabilities. The dipperLog needs to be programmed to log independently. The Tap”n”Tell is used for observing height of water above the dipperLog and temperature in degrees Celsius at the top of the well or tank at any given time.
