dipperLog NANO

The dipperLog NANO is a superior, low cost, accurate groundwater data logger. They are used by home owners, hydrogeologists and other groundwater professionals requiring a durable, reliable and cost effective solution to long term monitoring of groundwater levels and temperature in wells, boreholes and open bodies of water. The Heron logger is also ideal for applications involving short term pump and slug testing, or for wetland and tidal studies.

With an intuitive and user friendly software program, the dipperLog NANO is simple to launch and data recovery is fast and easy.

Note. In “Log time” mode the dipperLog NANO increases the readings from 1 second by an additional 1 second for 255 readings. The final reading interval is 4 min and 14 secs and the logger then stops logging. This mode logs for a total of 9 hours before stopping.

PC Communication Cable - PN# 5009

The PC Communication Cable is needed for setup, downloading and re-programming of the dipperLog NANO to a computer. The software comes included or is available for downloading from our website. One PC communication cable required for each PC user.


barLog NANO – PN# 5116

A barometric logger is used to automatically compensate readings stored on the dipperLog NANO for changes in barometric pressure (for non-vented version). The barLog NANO is recommended for long term monitoring or where more than one logger is deployed within a 20 km radius.


tapNtell Surface Mount Display – PN # 5020

The tapNtell is a surface mount weather resistant display accessory for the dipperLog NANO well head readout version. The conical connector end of the tapNtell is attached to the direct read well head and the surface mount display unit can be attached to the side of the casing, fence or pump house (any solid surface). The tapNtell provides an instant real time reading of water level and temperature with a tap of a finger.


showNtell Hand Held Display – PN# 5018

The showNtell is a portable hand held display unit for the dipperLog well head readout version. The showNtell can be carried from well to well, to give an instant real time reading of water level and temperature by simply plugging into the direct read well head. The showNtell does not download or store the data from the logger.


SDI-12 Interface Cable – PN# 5021

The SDI-12 system enables the dipperLog NANO data to be accessed from remote locations by a central computer base without site visits. The sensors can be interchanged without reprogramming the data recorder with calibration or other information. The power is supplied to the sensors through a third party device that enables telemetric data readings.

The Nylon expansion cap is a watertight locking plug, ideal for deploying the suspended version of the dipperLog NANO in a well.
